The Tokina AT-X Pro SD 11-16mm f2.8 (IF) DX Lens is a wide angle autofocus lens appropriate for Nikon DSLR cameras that utilize the Nikon DX crop sensor. This ultra wide angle zoom lens offers a range of focal lengths from 11mm to 16mm (equivalent to 16mm to 24mm on a full frame camera). This is a great lens for landscape photographers but can be employed in a wide variety of other uses as well. Additionally it has a fast and constant f2.8 maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range.
This lens is a member of Tokina's AT-X (Advanced Technology - eXtra) family of professional quality lenses. It utilizes low dispersion optics for reduced optical aberrations as well as advanced multicoatings and internal focusing. Some consider this one of the best ultra-wide zooms you can get for your Nikon DSLR.
This lens is not compatible with Nikon 35mm film cameras.
